If there were a heaven, Northern Spell would be my idea of what heaven would be like.  My visit there was nothing short of amazing.  Scott Peakes is the consummate host and his attention to the needs of his guest is unparalleled.  Wadleigh Island is one of the most serene and beautiful landscapes on this planet.

Walking up the dock to the lodge you’re greeted by Buddy (the dog), who guides you to the indoors, and WOW…. it is AMAZING! So much to look and marvel at – but for me the 55lb Salmon on the wall wins my vote!

NorthernSpell is truly a first class operation – I give it 5 stars! We enjoyed being pampered beyond our wildest expectations, and dining on everything from gourmet meals to requesting a BBQ of our freshly caught Salmon, prepared by their chef.
